Title: Dreamology
Author: Lucy Keating
Rate:

I have always loved the genre Contemporary in books and have been making monthly trips to Barnes & Nobles spending way more money than I should. Instagram having, in my opinion, the best bookish accounts have had this book floating around and have been a big deal for everyone who has read it. Lucy Keating has created a lovely book that lets your imagination run wild and gives you a different view on teenage love. The protagonist in the story is a girl named Alice who moves into her recently deceased grandmother's house in Boston. The other main character being a boy named Max that Alice has always dreamed of when she was younger. The day after her and her father move she attends Bennet high school where she sees Max the boy of her dreams standing in the doorway of her class, the only problem is she made him up or maybe she thought she did. For me, it was difficult to find the theme of the story, but I also enjoyed that it wasn't easy and obvious because you were able to have a deeper thought process on the morals and plot of the story. In my opinion, Lucy Keating did a beautiful job on creating a story that brings joy and laughter. This book will leave you on the edge of your seat, and its one of the many books you need to read.
